Dual-Wavelength(1927nm+1550nm) Thulium Laser System ThulDuo HY200

Principle

Thulium Laser System:ThulDuo: HY200

This device is a semiconductor-pumped laser. It excites thulium-doped gain medium and amplifies light via resonant cavity to emit dual-wavelength infrared laser at 1927nm and 1550nm. Both wavelengths target water molecules in the skin to generate photothermal effects for skin resurfacing and anti-aging treatments.

The 1927nm wavelength features outstanding water absorption. It acts on the epidermis and superficial dermis to vaporize dead keratin, create micro-channels, break down superficial pigment, and gently boost collagen regeneration. It delivers minimally invasive peeling with a short downtime period.

The 1550nm wavelength penetrates deeper while fully preserving the epidermal barrier. It creates localized thermal damage zones within the dermis to trigger collagen remodeling, focusing on skin tightening, acne mark fading and wrinkle reduction. The dual wavelengths work on different skin layers to integrate superficial exfoliation and deep anti-aging. Thermal damage is precisely controlled to greatly reduce risks of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and thermal burns.

FAQ

 Device & Business FAQ

What are the indications of the 1927nm and 1550nm wavelengths respectively? Can either wavelength be used alone?

The 1927nm thulium laser targets superficial epidermal rejuvenation, effectively improving surface pigmentation, enlarged pores, dull sallow complexion and shallow post-inflammatory acne marks. The 1550nm erbium laser delivers deep dermal anti-aging effects by stimulating collagen neogenesis, which alleviates fine lines, atrophic acne scars, stretch marks and skin laxity. This system supports standalone single-wavelength operation as well as combined dual-wavelength therapy. Operators may switch modes with one tap per clinical demand, eliminating the need to purchase two separate laser devices.

Is this a diode-pumped laser? What is the service lifespan of the laser source?

The unit is a standard diode-pumped fiber laser. It generates laser output via pump source excitation of gain medium, delivering consistent energy with minimal power degradation over time. The entire machine comes with a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty. Core components damaged under non-artificial conditions qualify for free replacement. Lifetime remote firmware upgrades are provided complimentary.

Does the device require regular consumables? Are long-term maintenance costs high for salons?

No mandatory disposable consumables are needed. The treatment handpiece is fully reusable and only requires routine cleaning and disinfection. No frequent replacements of probes, chips or optical filters are necessary, keeping recurring operational costs extremely low for beauty clinics. Disposable protective sheaths are optional add-ons exclusively for intimate area procedures.

Is OEM & ODM customization available? Can we customize brand logo, system languages and unit appearance?

Full customization services are offered: Logo printing on the chassis, multi-language touchscreen interface (English, Chinese, Russian, Spanish, Arabic and more), body color scheme, outer packaging and model naming are all customizable. MOQ for logo engraving is 1 unit. Bulk orders support structural modification of the device exterior.

What built-in safety mechanisms are integrated? Can thermal burns or unstable energy output occur?

Equipped with an emergency stop button, parameter access lock and intelligent constant-temperature air cooling system to prevent overheating during prolonged continuous operation. Fractional micro-beams deliver targeted thermal injury confined strictly to the treatment area, avoiding widespread thermal damage to healthy surrounding skin. Treatment parameters can be locked to prevent accidental high-energy settings that may lead to clinical risks.

What functions does the built-in client management system support?

It archives client profiles, saves treatment parameters for every session, records treatment course counts and stores before/after comparison images. Historical records can be recalled instantly with one click.

 End-Client FAQ

Does the treatment hurt? Is numbing cream required?

Discomfort is mild, comparable to a light rubber band snap against the skin. A thin layer of topical anesthetic cream can be applied for extra comfort with superficial 1927nm treatments. Most patients tolerate 1550nm deep-layer therapy without numbing cream. The handpiece features synchronized dynamic cooling to reduce thermal sensation during treatment.

How long is the downtime? When can I wear makeup and return to daily work?

1927nm ablative mode: Redness and dryness last 2–3 days with mild crusting and peeling. Light makeup is permissible after 3–5 days. 1550nm non-ablative mode: Only slight redness on the treatment day. You may wash your face and apply makeup the next day with almost no social downtime. In contrast to CO₂ fractional lasers which require 7–15 days of recovery, downtime is greatly shortened with this system.

Why do spots darken after treatment? Is this caused by improper machine operation?

Temporary darkening is a normal metabolic reaction. The laser fragments melanin, which rises to the epidermal surface and appears darker visibly. Pigment fades naturally with skin exfoliation within 3–7 days, leaving an even, brighter complexion. Strict sun protection post-procedure greatly minimizes this temporary darkening, and it is not classified as an adverse reaction.

How many sessions make up a full course, and what is the interval between visits?

Basic brightening & skin refining: 3 sessions per course, with 3–4 weeks between each appointment. For acne scars, stubborn pigmentation and stretch marks: A 5-session course is recommended. Collagen remodeling continues to improve results progressively for 1 to 3 months post-treatment. Optimal and long-lasting outcomes are achieved by completing the full treatment plan.

Who should avoid this treatment? Can pregnant/nursing clients or those taking isotretinoin receive the procedure?

Absolute contraindications include: pregnancy, breastfeeding, active herpes lesions or open wounds on the target area, oral isotretinoin intake within the past 6 months, and keloid-prone skin. Treatment must be postponed for clients with recent heavy sun exposure within 1 month or active sensitive skin flare-ups.

Key post-treatment aftercare instructions
  1. Avoid hot water cleansing, saunas and strenuous exercise with excessive sweating for 48 hours post-procedure.
  2. Discontinue acids, retinol and exfoliating skincare products for one week.
  3. Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen SPF30+ daily alongside physical sun shielding to prevent pigment rebound.
  4. Use medical-grade repair masks and barrier-repair moisturizers; never pick or peel scabs manually.
Which lines and scars can be improved?

It addresses facial fine lines, nasolabial folds, crow’s feet and neck lines. It effectively fades atrophic acne scars, superficial surgical scars, cesarean stretch marks, striae gravidarum and growth marks by stimulating dermal collagen deposition to fill depressed tissue gradually.

Is it safe for delicate areas around the eyes and mouth?

Yes. The spot size can be adjusted to ultra-fine pinpoint apertures paired with low energy settings, making it suitable for fine periorbital lines, lip lines and enlarged pores on the nose wings for precise, safe treatment.

What are the applicable scenarios for fractional dot mode vs. scanning sliding mode?

Fractional dot mode: Targeted spot treatment for pigment lesions, acne scars and localized fine lines with high precision. Wide-area sliding scan mode: Full-face rejuvenation, overall brightening and large-area stretch mark treatment on the body for higher efficiency. Custom freehand outlining of treatment zones is also supported.

Is the laser suitable for all skin tones (fair, medium, deep complexions)?

The device is compatible with the full Fitzpatrick skin tone spectrum. For deeper skin types, reduce energy density and pre-treat with melanin-inhibiting serums. A patch test on a small area prior to full treatment is recommended. When operated per protocol, the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation is far lower than traditional ablative lasers.
